Concerts benefit the fine arts program |

A special offering will be taken at the two Spring concerts to benefit
the fine arts program of our school. The Elementary Spring Concert is
set for 7:00 PM on Friday, April 18. The Middle and High School Spring
Concert & Art Show is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 1. |

May 2, 2008 declared as June Fletcher Day |
|
Last Friday night at the Elementary Spring concert, DBCS's School Administrator Wayne Embry declared May 2, 2008 to be “June Fletcher Day” here at DBCS. The school is planning an all school one hour dedication to recognize her 32 years of devotion to the students here at DBCS. Activities will being at 8:30-9:30am that morning and also will be declared a ½ day school for ALL students.

Junior/Senor Banquet at Fort Monroe |

On Friday April 25, 2008, approximately 160 students and staff of DBCS along with their guests attended the annual Junior/Senior banquet held at beautiful Fort Monroe in Hampton. Junior/Senior is always a special night, and this year was no exception. Set to the theme of a Hawaiian Sunset, the attendees enjoyed an evening of fellowship and entertainment presented by the Class of 2009 for the soon to be graduating class of 2008. The event was a tremendous success and a wonderful time was had by all in attendance. |
