Elementary School

The Elementary School includes K-4, K-5, and grades 1 through 5.

DBCS strives to meet the spiritual, mental, physical, and social needs of every student. With this goal in mind, the elementary school provides a strong, phonics-based curriculum which emphasizes the fundamentals of each subject, including Bible. Our program also includes art, computer, music, and physical education, as well as weekly library visits, and weekly chapels. In order to promote fitness, all students in grades 1-5 participate in our Lap Club, and upper elementary students have the option to join our Jump Rope Club.

Our elementary teachers conduct classes in a traditional manner, with an emphasis on responsibility, good work habits, and appropriate behavior. Teachers and aides are born-again Christians who love the Lord and love the children who are placed in their care.
