Minutemen Sports Headlines
-Portsmouth, VA- The Denbigh Baptist varsity cheerleaders arrived to the 2010 METRO Cheerleading Competition with only one thing in mind, to be repeat champions. When the competition ended, they achieved their goal. Congratulations to the varsity cheerleading squad for taking the championship and also to the MS squad for earning the conference runner-up spot. Congratulations also go out to Kirsten Boestfleisch and Krista Weech for earning their selection to the All-METRO Cheer Team.

-Newport News, VA- Congratulations to the following ladies for their selection to the METRO All Conference Basketball Team: Beka Hardy, Jo Stevenson, and Kimberlyn Schindler. Way to go Ladies!

-Newport News, VA- Congratulations to Katie Keating and Andy Jones for their selection to the METRO Conference All Scholastic Team. Their selections by the conference were based on their personal academic achievement, their athlete contributions to their school, and their personal testimonies. Congratulations Katie and Andy!
